Hi Team!
I love all the signs we have at Parkview. With last weekend’s services, we hit an all-time high with the number of children in Early Childhood at our 11am service last Sunday (over 30 children in both of our Clubhouses WOWSER!) and we had 1,097 children total for the entire weekend. I say it every day and I’ll say it again, God is AMAZING!!!!
We have a BIG need for more team members THIS SATURDAY, January 18th at the 3:45pm service AND Sunday, January 19th at the 11:00am and 5:45pm. If you can help PLEASE click here and add yourself in the schedule. We need YOU.
Please remember you will not receive a separate reminder email from me when you are scheduled to serve. I trust that everyone is aware of their scheduled time to serve. You may still receive reminder emails from your coaches.
We are continuing to ask Parkview attendees this weekend to ‘Just Try It’ and volunteer so we should have more team members to help with our increase in children but in the meantime we really need more helping hands this weekend.
Myself and Lisa Dorman will be at a Children’s Ministry Conference this week along with other members of our Children’s Ministry Department at Parkview. We are SUPER excited to learn what other church’s are doing and to learn how we can be the best that we can be for God’s little ones and our Parkview families.
This week let’s celebrate ALL our wonderful Volunteers of the Week for the past year. Please click on this link to see a snapshot from the past twelve months: https://parkviewec.wordpress.com/meet-the-ec-team-volunteers-of-the-week/ .
Please pray for the children in your class and your weekend team members. Review weekly curriculum and activities, it really shows the children how important they are to us when we are prepared. https://parkviewec.wordpress.com/category/curriculum/
I am so grateful for each and every one of you and look forward to making 2014 our best year yet. Go TEAM!
I read a great article today about Keeping Life Simple that I thought you might enjoy:
“Jesus is our help and peace in stressful times. Are you glad you don’t have to face life alone when things get complicated? Here’s what the Word says in Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble.” Not only was Jesus called the Prince of Peace; He is our Prince of Peace. John 14:27 says: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

May God ignite fresh faith in you today! May you pray with clarity, precision, and power. May you stand on His Word and hold fast to His promises.
BIG hugs and much love,
Jill Shea
