Last weekend we had our evacuation drill and it all went well, thank you! Above is a picture of Tonya Hoots, our 11am Service Coach, displaying all the items in our evacuation bags. We have everything covered for you to keep the children safe and together in the event we had to evacuate.
If you were unable to join us last weekend please take a moment the next time you serve to review the evacuation procedures that are in every Early Childhood room on the side of the tall metal cabinet. Above is a picture of what it looks like.
Let’s Celebrate! Meet our Volunteer of the Week, Teresa Bustos!
Teresa has been an Early Childhood Team Member for a year. She faithfully serves every other weekend at THREE services (Saturday 3:45, 5:45 and Sunday 11am). She is committed to our team and making sure the children have an awesome experience. Teresa is always willing to reach out and help others. Thank you, Teresa, the best is yet to come!
Friendly reminder, you can always take a sneak peek at our weekend activities and worship music by clicking on the ‘curriculum’ tab on our team blog.
Here’s Large Group and Team Leader, John Creedon, with Sammie and Sydney preparing for our 9am large group last Sunday. They did a OUTSTANDING job showing the children how to be strong and courageous!
October’s memory verse is Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid…for the Lord, your God, goes with you.”
Thanks for being the best team ever! It takes over 100 team members every weekend for us to be open for the Parkview families for every service. The families are extremely grateful for your time, talent and energy!
If you are available this weekend, October 12th or 13th please contact me right away. We have some openings that need to be filled. We’d LOVE for you to join the fun and we need YOU!
BIG hugs and much love,
Jill Shea
