Theme: Only Jesus Can Do That!
You know I can only imagine how confusing it must be for preschoolers when their pretend world meets up with the real world. Especially when their pretend world has guys who can jump over tall buildings or shoot spider webs or girls who can stop bullets with their bracelets. Now, we have all seen children with towels wrapped around their necks pretending they can fly or yarn tied to their wrists so they can shoot their own spider webs and eventually they will say something like only Spiderman can do that, only Superman can do that. Well this month, we are talking about things only Jesus can do!
This is all about true stories from the Bible and the things we are going to talk about will leave us all saying, “Only Jesus Can Do That!” Things like feeding 5,000 with just five fish and 2 loaves of bread, or by making a storm stop by just speaking to it or my absolute favorite, walking on water! Yes, walking on water, like I said only Jesus can do that.
Now, let me ask you a question…do you think it will change how our preschoolers see Jesus when they learn He is powerful enough to do anything…We Do! That’s why we are making sure they hear all about the things only Jesus can do. We want our preschoolers to grow up knowing all the things He did in the past so they will believe in all the things He can do today!
We want our preschoolers to know that Jesus is real, He is Amazing and when the impossible needs to happen, we can go to Jesus because when it comes to the impossible – Only Jesus Can Do That!
