  Theme: Countdown to Christmas
  
  MERRY CHRISTMAS! I just love December! The sights, the sounds, the smells (my favorite)—all these things fill the days as we count down to the MOST important day of December, the day we celebrate Jesus.
  
  That’s the plan for our preschoolers this month. We’re going to count down to Christmas with them as they learn the different parts of the Christmas story. First, they will hear how the angel came to tell Mary that she was going to have a special baby. (November 12th/13th and 19th/20th) Then, Mary and Joseph will travel to Bethlehem, and a special baby is born! (November 26th/27th and December 3rd/4th) Next, the children will pretend they are shepherds as they hear how the angels came to tell the shepherds in the field that Baby Jesus had been born. (December 10th/11th and 17th/18th)
  
  Then, it’s Christmas time and we are going to celebrate at all of our Christmas Services!!! That’s right, during every Christmas service, we will review the Christmas story and have a birthday party for Jesus. It’s going to be so much fun!

- October Curriculum – The Great Adventure

  This month is all about one man, one GREAT adventure. This month we’re talking about Moses! What a guy. What a life. What an adventure! God spoke to Moses through a burning bush. (You don’t see that every day.) And, Moses watched God part a sea. (You don’t see that every day either!)
  
  Think about all that Moses would have missed if he had said “no” to God’s plan?
  
  No pillar of cloud in the day.
  No fire at night to guide him.
  No water from a rock when he was thirsty.
  No leading God’s people.
  
  He would have missed out on the greatest adventure he could have ever imagined. One thing is for sure, we don’t want you or your preschoolers to miss out on one moment of the great adventure God has planned for you and them. That’s why we have filled an entire month with activities and stories and music that will help us all remember that God’s way is perfect. That’s right
  
  God’s way is perfect! God’s way is right! God’s way is awesome! And, God will show us the way.

  There are some AWESOME updates for our video teaching component, Wonder: Look At God’s Story.We’re SO EXCITED about them!
  
  Let me tell you what to expect when you start watching your October Wonder videos.
  
  There is a new “Wonder Song!” It’s a fun, catchy update to the classic that will have your preschoolers (and you) bouncing in their seats in no time. It won’t be long until they’re singing along with the girl on the recording.
  
  We have a new clubhouse! Isn’t that AWESOME?! And, not only that, but the new clubhouse sports a periscope for viewing the neighborhood and fun hidden cabinets too.
  
  Along with the new clubhouse, we have refreshed all of the Wonder world including each of our storyteller areas. We’re even adding a new storyteller in January. Stay tuned to learn more about that!
  
  One of our favorite updates is our NEW OLLIE! Our new Ollie is just what our new clubhouse needed to take it to over the top awesome.

- August and September Curriculum – Better Together

  Theme: Better Together
  
  Is there anything more precious that watching two three-year-old friends walking around the room doing everything together? They don’t care if they’re a different gender, race, or socio-economic level. They just know they enjoy each other’s company, and that they’re “Better Together.” It’s a joy to watch. God gave us a very precious gift when He gave us the gift of friendship, and we’re celebrating that all month long.
  
  While we celebrate friendship, your preschoolers will hear about David and Jonathan. Their story is one of the greatest friendship stories ever told and truly teaches us all what friendship is all about. As part of the “At the Movies” series, we’ve invited two very special friends to help our little ones learn it’s always Better Together – Yippee and Welcome to the Backyard, Buzz Lightyear and Sheriff Woody.
  
  Curriculum:
  
  Our preschoolers will hear that friends do lots of fun things together. We eat together and play together. Friends take care of one another too. And, friends help one another. Finally, friends praise God together. It’s a month full of friendship! Let’s celebrate each and every one of our friends! – It’s Better Together!
  
  August Weeks 1 and 2: David and Jonathan – God gives me good friends.
  
  August Weeks 3 and 4: David and Jonathan Say Goodbye – Good friends comfort each other.
  
  September Weeks 1 and 2: David helps Mephibosheth – God wants friends to help each other.
