May and June Curriculum – Come to the Castle

Easter is a beautiful reminder that we have such a good, good Father. And this month, we want to continue teaching our preschoolers more about the Father who sent His only Son to be our friend forever. This month’s theme, “Come to the Castle”, is not because we love castles but because we want to help preschoolers know the King that lives in the castle is a great, mighty and Awesome Father!
As we travel through the stories of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego (May Weeks 1 and 2), Hagar (May Weeks 3 and 4), Gideon (June Weeks 1 and 2), and Daniel (June Weeks 3 and 4), your preschoolers will learn that…
God is always with me.
God hears me and gives me what I need.
God teaches me the way to go.
God protects me.God truly is a good, good Father. And we want our preschoolers to know it! So get ready for an amazing trip to the castle as we help preschoolers get to know the God who made them and loves them, our good, good Father.
May Weeks 1 and 2 – Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego – God is always with me.
May Weeks 3 and 4 – Hagar – God hears me and gives me what I need.
June Weeks 1 and 2 – Gideon at Battle – God teaches me the way to go.

Happy Easter! It’s time to celebrate that Jesus is alive! He went away, but He came back! Yay, Jesus!
Remember, this Easter could be the very first time EVER for some of the preschoolers at our church to hear the true story of Easter. And for others, this could be their first time ever even going to church. We have the awesome opportunity to tell them for the first time about how Jesus washed His disciples’ feet (March Weeks 3 and 4); made His triumphal entry (April Weeks 1 and 2); died and rose again (All Easter Services); and gave us the Great Commission (April Weeks 4 and 5).
We get to tell them the true story of how much God loves them and how He gave them His only Son. We get to tell them that Jesus is alive, and He wants to be their friend forever. We have one of the best jobs in the world! We get to share with preschoolers that Jesus is the best! What an honor and a privilege.
March Weeks 3 and 4: Washing Feet – Jesus shows me I can serve others.
April Weeks 1 and 2: Palm Sunday – We can praise Jesus.
EASTER services: Easter – God sent Jesus to be my friend forever.
April Weeks 4 and 5: April Weeks 4 and 5: The Great Commission – We can tell others about Jesus.
