    Adrienne Trent

Let’s celebrate!  Meet our Volunteer of the Week, Adrienne Trent!  Adrienne jumped right in when we added the Sunday night 5:45pm service.  You’ll usually find Adrienne in Clubhouse A and she recently advanced as our Service Coach in Early Childhood every Sunday night.  Adrienne is always eager to help and sets a great example for others to follow.  She is a great leader!  Thank you, Adrienne, the best is yet to come!

Our goal this year in Kidz Connection is to make the most of the time we have together each weekend to really CONNECT with our kids, parents, teammates, and most importantly, with God – intentionally, authentically, and heart-to-heart.

We realize everyone has different schedules so if you were unable to attend our annual Kidz Training event last week, we missed you!  Last week we shared some fun, quick 20 second videos about Kidz Connection’s “Dos & Don’ts” check it out TODAY at http://parkviewchurch.com/orlandkidztraining .

If you did not receive your cool new Kidz Connection “CONNECT” t-shirt, we’ll have it for you the next time you serve. The first t-shirt is free, if you need another one we are asking for $5 to help offset the cost.  Thank you for understanding.

The check-in process is now quick and easy with a key card that you can scan at any check-in kiosk at Parkview.   If you did not receive your key card there will be a desk outside of the Kidz Connection lobby to pick yours up.  If you are already serving in another ministry that same key card will now work for Kidz Connection check-in.

HELP!  We need a few more team members this weekend.  If you are available Saturday, September 14 th for the 3:45pm or Sunday, September 15th for the 5:45pm please let me know right away.  THANK YOU!

Lastly, let’s share one way we can improve HOW we CONNECT.  This week let’s all focus on our eye contact. It’s one of the most important nonverbal channels you have for communication and connecting with other people.  Eyes answer the critical questions when you are trying to connect…Is he/she paying attention to what I’m saying?  Hmmmm….I know this is something I need to work on, how about you?  Let’s all try to be more aware of our eye contact as we go about conversations with people and especially children.

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Parkview!!!

    BIG hugs and much love,

    Jill
